About the Bennachie Art and Craft Group

We are a group interested in the art of painting in all mediums, crafts of various sorts and photography.

As a group it is practical to stage exhibitions and to hang pieces of work at selected venues.

Administration of events, trips to art galleries, regular talks by talented speakers are all benefits of joining BACAS for a small annual subcription.

The membership benefit of hanging at venues and at exhibitions at discounted charges increases the returns to members.

Our talks are normally held on the last Tuesday of the month from September through to April (excluding Christmas).

They are held at the Inverurie Catholic church hall.  There is normally a small charge and a raffle with prizes as well as a cuppa and a piece.

Through the Summer trips are arranged to art and craft venues.  Sometimes these involve a bus journey.

Membership cards are issued with the planned itinery of events for the year ahead from April and at the AGM which takes place in May every year.

Artwork for sale (privately) can be exhibited with your permission provided you are a BACAS member with an artist profile alongside your exhibits on the website.  Another potential benefit of membership.
